Petpooja's published base plan lists food aggregator integrations, inventory and a smart-stock manager, a purchase manager, 90+ reports, unlimited users and terminals, and an AI agent. Its paid add-ons cover a captain app, kitchen display system, Zomato/Swiggy reconciliation, Tally and SAP/ERP integration, a call-centre module, table reservations, kiosk software, e-invoicing, CRM and loyalty. What DeskoPOS focuses on
- A free plan for one counter, with dine-in, takeaway, KOTs, GST-ready bills, cash and UPI.
- A live floor plan coloured by table stage, and KOTs that only send new items.
- Dine-in, takeaway and delivery flows, QR table ordering and all payment modes on Growth at ₹499 per outlet per month.
- Nothing to install: it runs in the browser, and you can try the full POS in a live demo without talking to sales.
Which should you choose?
Petpooja is likely the better fit today if a large share of your orders come through Zomato and Swiggy, you need inventory and purchase control, or your accountant wants Tally integration.
DeskoPOS is likely the better fit if you run a café, a small restaurant or a single outlet, mostly serve dine-in and takeaway, and want table management, KOTs and correct GST bills without an upfront fee.
Whichever you consider, run the same three test orders in each: a table that adds items twice, a takeaway with packing, and a split UPI/cash bill. Our 12-point POS checklist covers what to look for.
